the quirks

By day, I work in the music industry helping creators get paid for their work. It’s something that’s important to me: that creative work is treated as valuable (because it is); that artists can sustain a life sharing their true selves with the world.

By night, you can usually find me cozied up on the couch with my dog (the light of my life) and either of my two cats - usually not both. If you have cats, you get it. Other times, I might be working at one of my (too many) hobbies: candle making, plant tending, baking, thrifting, roller skating, biking, camping, crafting, or diving down a rabbit hole finding a totally new hobby I just have to take up. I can’t help it.

I’m kind of big on personality tests, and sometimes astrology, so if you are too, here’s what you need to know: I am a Capricorn sun, Leo moon, Gemini rising. Earth sign, INFJ, Enneagram 2w1 (or 1w2; I’ve tested both ways), Hufflepuff. If you’re not sure what any of this means, I would encourage you to look it up so you know what it would be like to work with me. But here’s the gist: I am a planner, organizer, list-maker. I am sensitive and introverted, uniquely attuned to the feelings of those around me. I am a protector, advocate, peacekeeper. People-pleasing to a fault. I feel strongly called by my creative side, value authenticity, and trust my intuition.

Some random facts that are less relevant but arguably still important: I can recite every line of the movie Matilda. Breakfast for dinner is my lifestyle. I begin my Christmas countdown around August. We can be friends if we like just one of the same TV show. Guilty pleasures include Married at First Sight and watching van life videos on YouTube. I’m an absolute sucker for acoustic piano. And if you don’t like Taylor Swift, we can’t be friends. Them’s the rules.

Why choose me?

I live for those moments when you suddenly come back to yourself; the ones where you’re wide-eyed and awake, present and soaking it in. It’s not always an exhilarating adventure (although, sometimes it is!) - sometimes it’s your backyard in the summer, laying in a hammock at dusk, fresh air at just the right temperature. I aim to capture those moments and enhance them with a timeless, cinematic editing style so you can feel them again and again, like you’re right back there, for years to come. Let’s leave the tired, stiff poses behind and create an experience that’s true to you.
